|I became a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist in 2007 and I decided to live the dream and start my own practice. It was a long and arduous journey. Trying to work my old job full time and build my new massage business on the side was more difficult than I imagined. Added to the trouble was a limited budget for advertising.|
How was I going to get my message out about my awesome new skills? Several years later, with a lot of hours spent, I finally had a steady stream of clients, enough for me to say goodbye to my old job! A few years of working as a sole-proprietor, I was approached by the local massage school to start teaching massage classes. What a great gig. I jumped at the opportunity to help shape the future of my profession. I was tasked with teaching several classes, one of which was the business class. Looking at the curriculum, which was eerily familiar to when I took the class many years ago, I saw there was a minimal amount of information about how to market and promote and build a successful massage practice.
That’s when I decided to get my Masters Degree in Marketing. I am here to pass on my knowledge and expertise to all those who need help promoting their business. No need to follow the hard road. Learn from my mistakes and achieve a successful practice without all the heartache. While my ideas and information is slanted to the massage therapy field, it can be easily adapted to many other careers. I specialize in helping small business owners in any industry. If you have specific questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am here to help.
